Burke Communications Named A Top N.C. Small Business
July 16, 2010

The full-service advertising agency rose seven spots on Business Leader Media's annual ranking of the state's leading small businesses.

CHARLOTTE, NC - At an award ceremony on June 24, 2010, Burke Communications, a full-service Charlotte advertising agency, was recognized as the #66 ranked small business on Business Leader magazine's Top 100 North Carolina Small Businesses list. This is seven spots higher than the 2009 awards, where Burke was ranked number 73.

For the third consecutive year, Business Leader Media announced its rankings of the Top 100 N.C. Small Businesses at three simultaneous events in Charlotte, the Triad, and the Triangle. The awards recognize winners that have excelled financially and positively impacted their communities within the last year. The companies on the 2010 list were selected due to their exemplary fulfillment of criteria that included one-year revenue growth, five-year revenue growth, industry awards and achievements, and community involvement.

"Burke Communications is honored to once again be acknowledged among the state's leading small businesses," said Jack Burke. "We are very pleased that our company's individual growth, as well as our contributions to our community, has been recognized by Business Leader media, and thank our clients and staff who made this award possible."

The rankings will be published in Business Leader magazine, which is distributed in Charlotte, the Triad and the Triangle.
