Burke Communications Adds High-Definition Video Capabilities
March 5, 2008

CHARLOTTE, NC - Burke Communications announces that it has added full-capability high-definition video production to the services it offers in-house. The agency now owns two online high-definition edit suites and a high-definition video camera. Expanded Maya 3-D animation capacity and 100% high-definition digital (tapeless) video production capability ensure that Burke video productions are of the highest-possible quality.

Burke's new technology gives organizations seeking cutting-edge video production services the opportunity to obtain better service, turnaround and experience compared to the majority of agencies in the area, which either do not offer Blu-Ray high-definition capabilities or must rely on third parties to get the necessary equipment and expertise.

The addition of the high-definition suite reflects Burke Communications' ongoing commitment to using the best and newest technology for the benefit of its clients. "Having high-definition expertise and equipment really gives us an edge over other Charlotte agencies," said Jack Burke, CEO of Burke Communications. "Clients can feel confident turning to Burke for their high-definition video projects because we aren't limited by external factors, like having to rent a camera or other equipment, or retain an outside editor to complete a project. We can do it all right here, on time, on budget, and with a higher level of experience."

Ingersoll Rand was the first Burke client to take advantage of the high-definition video suite. John Rudolph, Director of Services Marketing for Ingersoll Rand said, "The high-definition video Burke shot for our PackageCare product was impressive. The video quality was perfect, which gave us a very polished look and showed PackageCare in a better light than conventional video would have."

The agency is completing a high-definition Blu-Ray promotional video using blue-screen technology. The video will be streamed on the Sony high-definition digital video player's Web site.
